Simbadets Bath & Camping 

Simbadet is located just north of Österbybruk at the lake Stordammen. Only 45 km north of Uppsala, or 120 km north of Stockholm. Simbadet offers very nice swimming and camping opportunities, beach volleyball, boule, sauna, rental bicycles, café with buffet.

There are also arrangements for company events, private parties and other.

One of the biggest events in the region takes place the second week of August every year. The traditional "Eldfesten" which can be translated to "The Fire Party".


The Eldfesten event contains:

  • Fireworks - not just a few, there are many and they are BIG...
  • A show with high diving and hand-held torches
  • Beautiful flowers in the water (look at the Eldfesten page)
  • A floating stage with celebreties, rock stars and groups playing dance music.
